Dr. Scott Reid grew up in Columbus and graduated from Miami University in Oxford Ohio, with a degree in finance. Dr. Reid received his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) in 2009 from West Virginia University. While at West Virginia University, he was awarded two academic scholarships for his success in the classroom and in the clinic. Dr. Reid completed his AEGD (Advanced Education in General Dentistry) residency at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia with an emphasis on prosthodontics and complex restorative cases. Upon completing his residency, Dr. Reid joined a dental practice in southern Ohio before moving back to Columbus in 2014. He began practicing at Hilliard Dental Associates in the fall of 2017.
Dr. Reid is a member of the American Dental Association, the Ohio Dental Association, and the Columbus Dental Society. He has served as a delegate for the Ohio Dental Association representing the Southern Ohio Dental Society. He has also participated in several Mission of Mercy projects providing free dental care for indigent patients.
Dr. Reid is married to his wife, Hannah. They currently reside in Hilliard and are both very excited to be involved in the community. They have 4 sons: Samuel, twins Noah & Ben, and Liam. When not working, Dr. Reid enjoys family time, golf, college football, and vacationing to northern Michigan.
